Bleu Bella : Bleu is a 4 ½ year old spade female. She is bleu and fawn colored with a white splash on her chest and white toes. Bleu is nearly completely house broken. She needs to encouraged to go outside and praised when she does her business. She gets very excited when she is praised for doing a good job in the yard.

I think that Bleu is one of sweetest IGs I’ve had in my home so far. He is a real lover and quite a princes. She has a special trick where she jumps straight up into your arms and hugs your neck. She would spend all of her time either in my lap or right next to if possible. She loves give kisses and hugs. When she sits in your lap she wants to be facing you so she can rub her forehead on your chin or sneak in a kiss or just gaze in to yours with such love and gentleness. I think in her heart of hearts she believes that she is a child a lot of the time. In the morning she waits to be let out of her crate and when you open the door she wraps her legs around your neck and gives good morning kisses. She does the same thing at night and boy when you come home look out the kisses rain free.

Bleu is blind in her right eye due to a detached retina. We do not know how or when this happened to her. She has some small cataracts developing in her left eye. She is on eye drops twice a day to maintain the pressure in her eyes and to try to keep the cataracts from growing any larger. This said Bleu is a perfectly normal dog in every other way. You would never know she had a problem most of the time. She doesn’t do well at catching treats but boy she loves to get them. Her condition is stable right now and may stay this way for a very long time. In years to come she could loose the sight in her left eye as the cataracts grow larger.

Bleu would not do well in a home with children under eleven. In her previous home the children pulled on her ears and played tug of war with her tail. She has never bitten any one, but is shy around children and new comers. This little girl loves to be a part of things though and enjoys being the center of attention. Bleu would be best suited to a home with only one other Iggy and someone who is home most of the time. She’d make a great companion dog to someone who is retired or works from home.

She has a special talent, she can count and loves to help. She enjoys loves to keep you posted on anything going on around the house by barking at fetching you to come see. She has a pretty loud bark and gets my attention nearly every time. She talks a lot too, grunts and occasionally claps her front paws. Bleu is very talented and once she’s comfortable with you loves to show off. She knows basic commands, sit, NO, kennel and come.
